Day 1 (April 1st) – Sault Saint Marie

I left Ottawa at 11am to head to my hotel at Sault Saint Marie (arriving at 8:20 pm). It’s a pretty long drive, about 780 km. I occupied my time on the drive by listening to an audiobook that I got from iTunes, called River Marked. I didn’t really know what it was about but I thought it was like a crime story with a hot chick in it. Little did I realize it was a bizarre story of a half Indian/White and half human/coyote girl who had a ghost encounter of her father lol. Yup pretty bizarre, there were also vampires, werewolves, and ghosts in the story (set in modern time today). So far pretty entertaining, but sometimes I feel this author (Patricia Briggs) must of been a total weirdo in real life hahaha.
