I made it finally to Winnipeg after another long drive, which wasn’t quite as scenic as yesterday. As I got to the location of my hostel, the car GPS mislead me to the wrong building. The hostel was located across from it but it took me a couple of minutes to realize that. The neighborhood was definitely a bit sketchy, like Vanier sketchy haha. The sound of police and emergency sirens was constant in downtown (later that night I watched 5 police cars in front of a hotel across from my hostel from my bedroom window). I was exhausted but I made myself visit the waterfront, which was nicer than I anticipated. See the pictures below. Overall the hostel was kind of cool, and I was the only person in my 6 person dorm room.
